Inchcolm Island is a short boat trip from South Queensferry. Patience and a bit of luck went into this picture of a puffin with dinner for its pufflings

Kilchurn Castle, Loch Awe
The first time I went to Kilchurn Castle I was on the Castle side of Loch Awe. There seemed to be some sort of strange ritual taking place with lots of German motorcyclists. I never went back to that side. Better pictures from the road to Inveraray. A muddy walk to the shore but worth the effort.

St Abbs Lighthouse
There is an easy way through the keepers cottage to take this picture, or you can take your life in your hands and skirt along on a narrow path with a 50 metre drop into the sea. You need to be resident in the cottage for access.
