Kerrera Island is a short boat trip from Oban, The island has no vehicles and navigation around the island is difficult as I found out.

The first time I went to Kilchurn Castle I was on the Castle side of Loch Awe. There seemed to be some sort of strange ritual taking place with lots of German motorcyclists. I never went back to that side. Better pictures from the road to Inveraray. A muddy walk to the shore but worth the effort.

There is an easy way through the keepers cottage to take this picture, or you can take your life in your hands and skirt along on a narrow path with a 50 metre drop into the sea. You need to be resident in the cottage for access.

I was so happy to find this bridge. Not so happy getting my feet wet to get this picture. Glen Creran.

Tree

I went out to photograph a castle but it was under renovation. Saw this tree as a substitute, Climbed the fence (right to roam) dodged the cow pats and got this picture. I doubt if I could find this tree again.
