Governors House and Martyrs Monument, Carlton Hill

The governors house was the residence of the carlton jails govenors house and the remaining portion of the old carlton jail. The Martyrs column was raised to celebrate the 5 men deported for sedition (asking for parlimentary reform based on the ideals of the French revolution.
